vintagecorkscrews.com

There are many sites on the internet where you can find information on vintage and antique corkscrews, purchase vintage and antique corkscrews, and simply drool over various collector's collections of vintage and antique corkscrews.  Below are my favorite sites to visit.

Don Bull, literally, wrote the book on corkscrews.  Actually, he has now written several books on corkscrews.  His site offers a museum where one can browse through his collection, as well as find information about this twisted obsession.  You can even purchase copies of his book!

Andre Burgos is a dealer based out of New York that has a wonderful selection of corkscrews for sale.  His site is definitely worth a visit whether you are a seasoned collector, or a novice who would like to "ooh and ah" over the brilliant pieces he sells.

Ferd Peters is the authority on German Patents, and has published several  books that are a must in any corkscrew collector's library.

Mechanical Corkscrews, German Corkscrew Patents, German Corkscrew Registration, and Pocket Corkscrews (written with Bert Giulian)

He has a great site that is well worth a visit--with many corkscrews for sale!

Proclaiming itself as the place, "where the corkscrew world meets,"  Joe Paradi's site offers a lot of information on corkscrew collecting clubs, available software, upcoming meetings, and auctions.  There is also a link for various monographs/articles about corkscrews.

Vintage Antiques is Dean Walters' site and features some remarkable corkscrews and wine related antiques..  One can also find information  here about the club he co-founded, the Golden Gate Corkscrew Collectors.

corkscrewsonline !
Peter Borrett's site www.corkscrewsonline.com, offers a wealth of information, expert advice in the area of collecting, and many corkscrews for sale.  He is one of the founding members of the Corkscrewteers!
corkscrewcentral.com
Chris Bristow's site www.corkscrewcentral.com is quickly becoming one of the most informative and interesting sites in all of corkscrewdom.  He is also one of the founding members of the  Corkscrewteers!

I have a love/hate relationship with ebay.  I have bought and sold there for the last few years.  Unfortunately there are some sellers (and buyers for that matter) who lack a certain integrity.  Caveat Emptor!  Still, there have been some wonderful deals found on the ubiquitous auction site.  If you are going to bid on eBay, try using auctionsniper...it saves you late late nights or early early mornings trying to bid in the closing minutes...
